The Carad brand.
The Carad brand has been created by Gabriel Carpentier in the 20's (1925?). The factory was located in Kuurne (Cuernes).
At the beginning, they produce only spare parts. After the war they start to build radios, sound-systems, professionnal tape-recorders, Hi-Fi, television sets.
The Carad company has been bought by the english group Thorn around 1970, and goes to bankrupt in 1975.
Today, we still can find products (produced in Korea) with the Carad logo here, in Belgium.
