Front view... A curious look.

Rear side... this radio was designed to work on 100V DC mains only. The tube heaters are serial connected, with big resistors. Complex wiring!

The frame, out of the cabinet. On the bottom wood panel we can see from left to right : the main smoothing coil, the filament resistors, the smoothing capacitors ans finally a second coil.

Under the frame wiring. A lot of components are out of order and are so special.

A view on the big smoothing coil. The DC mains come directly on, and is smoothed by this coil and the non-polarized capacitors! All capacitors are short-cut, and almost all the filament resistors are burned. Maybe this radio has been plugged on a 220V mains...
